Punta Sur

Punta Sur - a part of Mexico the farthest to the east. If you're here early morning, you can be the first one in Mexico to see the sun rise.

On Isla Mujeres - The Island of Women. A Mayan ruin built for the goddess Ixchel.

Mexico from this side has a different face.

But you can be sure that it is still the same Mexico.

Ruins. The difference is that they are by the sea.

Relaxed people. The difference: more resort-style.

Food. Less street food.

Hippie. You must look for them more carefully.

Tourists. More Americans than in any other part of Mexico.

Salsa. Here you can dance it on the sand.

Hitchhiking. No comparison. I tried it only here:). It worked.
